About DanceWorks Studios
DanceWorks Studios is a studio in Fairbanks, Alaska with caring and nurturing instructors who are dedicated to fostering the love and joy of dance to their students! We offer classes for dancers ages 3 - adult, including ballet, tap, hip hop, and jazz. Our motto is "Get more from dance" More attention, more enjoyment, more movement!
Miss Dana has been teaching dance for 23 years. She enjoys teaching children and adults of all ages, and hopes her passion for dance shines through while she instructs. Dana has danced with local studios including Dance Arts Academy and North Star Ballet School. Dana has participated in the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival numerous times and has traveled to participate in dance conferences and training.
Krista started dance at the age of three and has been an active member of the Fairbanks dance community ever since. Krista has danced with many local studios including Ballet North, Molloy & Company, North Star Ballet, The Ballet Barre and Dance Arts Academy. A long time participant in the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival and is currently Co-Director of Dance Studies. She has taken classes from several nationally known instructor including Marie Grande, Gus Giordano, Michael Rooney, Bob Rizzo and Joe Tremaine. Krista is also a FLOT veteran having appeared in West Side Story, Annie, Oklahoma and was the Choreographer for The Sound of Music. She even spent a season as the Monroe Basketball Cheerleading coach. Krista has been teaching dance for 20 years and Zumba teaching going on four years. Krista’s Zumba credentials include the specialty licenses for Aqua Zumba, Zumba Gold and Zumba Sentao
